What Is the Wissahickon Course?

Wissahickon is the historic A.W. Tillinghast-designed course at The Philadelphia Cricket Club in Flourtown, Pennsylvania. The club commissioned Tillinghast to design its new Flourtown golf course in 1920, and the course opened for play in 1922. In 2013–2014, Wissahickon underwent a complete restoration intended to bring the course back toward Tillinghast’s original design vision.
